The deodorant is housed in compostable packaging and finished with a wax seal, used both as a design detail and as a marker of freshness that must be broken upon first use. Each scent is derived from a tree or plant native to BC, paired with short-form copy describing its properties and origins.

SŌMA® is a natural deodorant brand inspired by the people and environment of British Columbia. With nearly seven out of ten adults in BC participating in outdoor activities each year, the goal was to design a product that aligns with the lifestyle and values of those who live actively.
